1. The top US military commander for Iraq and Afghanistan William FALLON has resigned from his post. Analyst（admiral） found(FALLON) was subject over(of) a recent magazine article that said he was disagreed with any use of military actions against Iran over its nuclear program. The (admiral) said he was stepping aside because he has perceived differences between him and President Bush. As a (our) North America editor Justin’s website (Justin webb) says his position and that of bush administration became increasingly different.
The problem is not fighting a war with Iran, he was perfectly confident that American could win such a war if （it） chose to fight it. The problem is what comes next? He was stressing something that the Bush administration when it talking a war options (it talks about picking all options) on the table doesn’t particularly want to get into and he stressed it so much, so long, and so many journalists. Although(of those) who are sexually active , forty percentage were found to be carrying an STD. African American girls were more at list(risk) with nearly half carrying the disease comparing to one in five white teenagers tested. The most common STD was human (papilloma virus or HPV) with at least 18% has been affected (infected). Although the disease often clears up naturally, it can cause (genital warts and also cervical cancer if) left untreated.

More than a hundred people were at the army depot when the first explosion happened according to the office of Albanian prime minister sunny briesha, he said that he feared the number those killed would be considerable. It appears the initial blast set off a series of huge explosions, which local media say were still being heard many hours later. It may be sometime before the skein (scale) of disasters is (was) known. Albanian officials claim it is too dangerous to go near to the scene.

The bomb exploded in the back garden of an Italian restaurant popular with foreigners, one of the few in the capital which serves alcohol. The blast went off at the height of dinner rush, it overturned cherries in (chairs and) tables, blew off (out) windows and left a crater in the ground. The injured included nationals from Japan, Canada and Germany, staff from the British high commission and for the US embassy. It is not clear who did this but a wave of bombing over the past year has been blamed on Islamic militants taking revenge for security operations against them.

Stock markets have rallied after United States central bank, the Federal Reserve, cuts its main interest rate by three quarters of one percent for the second time in a month. The main lending rate now stands at 2.25 percents. In a statement the FED highlighted the difficult credit conditions and problems in the housing market as threats to economic growth. 3 the British-born science fiction writer Arthur C Clarke has died in his adopted home Sri Lanka, he was ninety. During his career, he wrote more than a hundred books which sold millions of copies worldwide. Christian reports.
Arthur C Clarke was stood in short chouses (still in short trousers) when he began experimenting with wireless telegraphy and rocket propulsion. By the time he was in his twenties working in radar and communications with RAF, he’d come up with the idea explaining in great details in wireless world magazine of communication satellites. In the fifties after the briefest marriages, he moved to Sri Lanka where despite his disability, he would go diving in and play table tennis everyday. His mind was still in overdrive producing in 1968 his best known work 2001 a space Odyssey, featuring how a super computer with psychotic tendencies.

The court is considering whether it is reasonable for the capital Washington DC to maintain its ban on most handguns and restriction on shotguns in the home.

According to the investigating panel, the previous Nigeria administration gave more than 50 million dollars worth of government contracts meant to help fix the collapsed power sector to 34 nonexistent companies. It’s the latest revelation that (by) the panel which has been investigating the issue very close to Nigerians’ heart, namely why is there no lie (light). Despite Nigeria’s oil and gas wells (wealth), the country still produces a mini scaled 3000 megawatts of electricity for a population of a hundred forty million people. To put that into context, South Africa produces twelve times as much power for just one third as many people.
